Herbal Recipe Astonishment #1
The initial intense crisis occurred when "Inshallah" and "Belle" had been beloved pets for about 13 months. "Belle" was a few weeks away from having her first foal and a baby paddock was under construction. Lunchtime from our building project had preceded and we didn't see "Shallah's" accident, but since they roam the homeland freely, he came to the house. The horses especially, come find us whenever something is wrong. Well, there my black stallion stood with a yawning chest wound, riveting dark eyes peering up the porch and into the kitchen window. This first emergency event was instinctive in my response, and is now procedure.
The "Wound Care Recipe" is always handy in the refrigerator, whenever needed by whomever. After washing my hands, I poured the powdered recipe, filling my palm, and laying it directly and firmly onto the bleeding injury. The anodyne, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-microbial, antispasmodic and hemostatic (minimal list of the restorative components in all the recipes) start the medicating process immediately. In a short span of time, the bleeding slowed considerably. The blood mixed with the herbal powder making a natural poultice.

Back in the kitchen, I prepared a small mash blended with 3 heaping teaspoons of the Recipe. Returning then, to the patient with the mash, more Recipe and hand soap. (If the animal will not eat, add the dosage to distilled water or unflavored infant electrolytes and administer orally with a syringe). Following the recuperative mash, I took the garden hose with a mild water pressure, cleaning the wound thoroughly. The cold water may initiate bleeding again, that's hygienic and useful. I washed my hands once more and repacked the wound with the powdered compound, with a light compression, joining it with the blood and torn tissue. We all carry our own antibodies through the blood. Creating the poultice in this way, with the initial injury has reparative properties. Less harsh injuries without bleeding, you can use flax seed oil for a nice "glue". All four-legged animals tend to eat their poultice, not to worry, it's still working. The course for this wound's treatment, internally and externally, was 3 times a day for 3 days, then twice a day for 3 days, following with daily for 3 days, thus ending the exterior redress. At every point, these herbal recipes function at their highest good, internally. They are amalgamated to not only relieve the particular symptom, but correct the integrity of health for our animal kingdom. Adding the dosage to their food for another month is remedial and nutritive.
The healing process itself, repairs quite unlike they do with pharmaceuticals. Besides accelerating the recuperative, "Shallah's" exposed wound regenerated from the inside out. Starting with the muscle, which could clearly be seen, subcutaneous layer, upon layer formed outward, to the derma which sealed spherically. There was never any infection, septic weeping or (incredibly) proud flesh. And as many people can attest with me pointing to the area, no scar is visible.
This was my first major herbal therapy and was it amazing to behold.
Mysterious Nature is truly wondrous.
